Branfo Interactive Pvt Ltd ("Branfo", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through our website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it — including rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), to the extent they apply to you.
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
Branfo Interactive Pvt Ltd is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through this website. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@branfo.com.
2. Personal data we collect
Data you give us
When you submit our contact form or otherwise correspond with us, we collect: your name, email address, company name (optional), phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, the content of your message, and a record of your privacy consent (including its date and time).
Data collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use this information in aggregate to keep the site secure and improve its performance. Our website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address when serving font files.
Data we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect special-category (sensitive) personal data or data from children under 16 through this website, and we ask that you do not submit such data via our forms.
3. Why we use your data and our legal bases
- To respond to your enquiry — processing is based on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given via the checkbox on our contact form, and on taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To communicate about a project once engaged — based on the performance of a contract.
- To keep our website secure and improve it — based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in operating a safe, reliable website.
- To meet legal obligations — such as tax, accounting, or lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your form submissions for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Where your data goes (processors)
Your form submission is stored in Google Workspace services (Google Sheets) controlled by Branfo, and a notification email is sent to our team mailbox (info@branfo.com). We may also use reputable service providers for website hosting, email, and customer relationship management (such as HubSpot, Zoho, Freshworks, or Salesforce) to manage enquiries. These providers act as processors on our documented instructions and are bound by data-processing agreements.
5. International transfers
Our service providers may store data on servers located outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where such transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or equivalent mechanisms under applicable law.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up business relationship, and no longer than 24 months after our last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required by law or you become a client (in which case data is retained per our client-engagement terms). You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).
7. How we protect your data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls limiting data to team members who need it, and reputable providers with strong security certifications. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten");
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data;
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;
- Complain — lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority (in the EU), the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Data Protection Board of India, as applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@branfo.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within one month, and we may ask for reasonable proof of identity before acting on a request.
9. Third-party links
Our website and articles may link to external sites we do not control. This policy does not cover those sites; please review their privacy policies separately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page. Continued use of the website after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
